Charge
A load; the maximum or necessary quantity that a container or apparatus is built to accommodate, e.g., fuel in a furnace. (1) In electricity, it is the electrical energy stored in a capacitor or battery or held on an insulated object. (2) In refrigeration, it is the amount of refrigerant in a system or the putting of refrigerant into a system.
